Disaster Dashbord

Problem: In an emergency, it can be difficult to get timely, relevent info about that speficif situation in one place. Disaster Dashboard attempts to do just that. This Web application calls on & returns data from several public API's, including YouTube and the New York Times. User authentication and storage is accomplished with Firebase.

Marvel Shuffle

Problem: To be able to play a memory game where you have to remember the last card you clicked on, and not repeat yourself, up to 16 times. And by the way, the cards shuffle on each click... This web application domonstrates basic proficiency in ReactJS.

ParkPlanner

Problem: When a person plans a visit to a theme park, timing is everything! Park Planner attemps to optimize planning by forming an efficent route based on historical wait time data. This is a heroku-deployed application (IN PROGRESS) utilizes nodeJS, handlebars, express, MySQL, and Sequelize.

GiphyNFL

Problem: When a user wants to find the perfect NFL meme, they should be able to do so with ease! This front-end JavaScript application demonstrates proficiency in JQuery and AJAX HTML methods.

Fox 35 NewsTalk

Problem: It can be difficult to find others to discuss local news stories with. Fox35NewsTalk takes an Orlando-based TV news station and brings it's most recent headlines into a space where they can be discussed. This project (IN PROGRESS) demonstrates proficiency scraping data from a local news website and creating a social platform to discuss it using a deployed MongoDB backend database.
